International Vietnamese Mental Health Association (IVMHA) is a group dedicated to the support, development, and enhancement of cultural, linguistic, and clinical responsiveness when working with the Vietnamese community. We are a relatively new association with aspirations to organize Vietnamese mental health professionals internationally (this includes therapists, researchers, psychiatrists, psychologists, etc.).

Our Vision

Support, develop and enhance essential clinical knowledge, skills, attitudes, and resources to more effectively work with the Vietnamese communities.

Our Mission

​IVMHA was established to:

  1. Support Vietnamese Mental Health Professionals worldwide

  2. Provide a safe environment to develop, enhance, and share our organic Vietnamese culture and language to help make us better service providers for our Vietnamese communities

  3. Support and nurture future Vietnamese Mental Health Professionals via Mentorship
